Lord Kuber is the god of wealth according to our Hindu mythology. He is the son of sage Vishrawa and grandson of Brahma. He is the king of yaksha and one of the Ashta dikpals, representing the north directions. He is appointed as the guardian by the gods for their treasure and special nine treasures of indefinite significance. His responsibilities as a god of wealth are to distribute it along with goddess Laxmi among the people. He flies in his pushpak vimaan to distribute wealth to his devotees and gets assisted by the kinnars.
Significance of Kuber Puja:
It is believed that the Kuber’s house is the home of Adilaxmi, the goddess of wealth. Kuber pleased her and gave him massive wealth. Kuber lent some money to lord Vishnu for his marriage.
Now, with the advancements in technology, many devotees opt for Online Puja to worship and show their devotion. It is said the process will continue until the end of kalyug.

The Procedure of Kuber Puja:
The worshipping of lord Kuber is generally in the form of yantra. This yantra is very powerful and brings prosperity and happiness in life. Other than Diwali, people also worship lord Kuber on Tuesday or Friday. They clean a wooden plate, draw the Kuber kolam with rice flour, and place it in front of the Kuber. In this kolam place the coins facing the numbers of kolam. Put red flowers on the coins and the Kuber. Lit a lamp and agarbatti and chant the following mantra 11 times. The puja of Kuber helps in removing all worries related to money and a uniform flow of cash is seen by the blessings of Kuber. It is also believed that the Kuber yantra is very powerful one could get relief from poverty and scarcity of money just by doing puja of this yantra.
