Start of Shardiya Navratri with Sthapana
The first step of Shardiya Navratri is Kalash Sthapana and Chowki Sthapana in your home. To perform this people should wake up and take a bath early in the morning, wear clean clothes and keep fast. Muhrat should be considered at the time of Sathapna of Kalash. Kalash should be filled with pure water and placed near the idol of the deity. Keep mango leaves and coconut on the mouth of Kalash. Offer red sari and dupatta to the Goddess Durga. And present paan with a clove on it. Light agarbatti and incense sticks for Maa Durga. It is believed that Shardiya Navratri brings prosperity, success and happiness in life. During this period respect the Brahmanas.
Importance of Shardiya Navrartri Puja
